Within the same year he presented his individual painting collection to the Athenian public organizing his first solo exhibition inspired once again by the greek sea and light. Around that time and as Hydra becomes an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist he introduces the tradition of a yearly solo exhibition on the island as the annual starting point of all artistic activities in Hydra.
According to an art connoisseur the outstanding beauty and the glorious past of Hydra are reflected in his creations in full confidence. Hydra and the sea, to all the extent of their tales and legends become the pillars of his art, fairly qualifying him as “the painter of Hydra”.

Yannis Tsarouchis, a warm supporter of his writing and artistic skills gave him an extra recommendation for his book.
In 1985 his second book under the title “Triton” received excellent reviews plus an eminent place in the collection of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
